General And Specifics
- this is a good warm-up exercise
- if you do not have much space, you can do it outside or on the spot
Starting Position
- stand upright
- the feet are hip width apart
- the arms hang down at the sides
Correct Execution
- make one step forward and lift the other - stretched out - leg with momentum, until it is almost parallel to the ground
- try to touch the toes with the opposite hand
- bend forward a bit to do so
- lift your leg consistently and alternatingly, trying to touch the toes
- do this for a longer period of time
tip for the workout
- the ab workout becomes a bit more difficult, if you belt weight cuffs to your ankles
