Starting Position

  • grasp a dumbbell or kettlebell with a hand
  • the legs are hip width open
  • stand up straight and look ahead
  • let the arms hang down
  • lift the heels and keep the balance

Correct Execution

  • make a bigger step forward, only the tiptoes touch the ground
  • angle the leading leg to 90 degrees
  • the leading thigh is parallel to the ground
  • you arms can help keeping the balance
  • the back foot also remains on tiptoes
  • do not move the tiptoes or knees outwards
  • hold the upper body straight
  • push the body back up into the starting position and repeat with the other side
