General and Specifics
- with this this partner exercise you can work out the thighs musculature without using any weights
- the triceps and chest of your partner are required, too
Starting Position
- sit down on a chair or a table, so that the backs of the knees touch the edge of the seat area
- let the lower legs hang down
- if you sit on a chair, stretch out the legs a bit, so that the feet do not touch the ground
- your partner knees in front of you and encompasses your ankles
Correct Execution
- stretch out the legs against the resistance of your partner, until the the legs are parallel to the ground
- hold the tension for a moment
- take some tension off the legs, so that your partner can push down your legs into the starting position
- stretch the legs again
- do several reps
tips for the workout
- for a bigger resistance, your partner can grasp one of your ankles with both hands
- this trains the thigh even more (do the same number of reps for a consistent workout)
