General And Specifics
- in opposite to Biceps-Curl With EZ Bar, Underhand Grip the focus of this free weights exercise is on the Brachioradialis
Starting Position
- grasp a barbell or ez bar shoulder width with over hand grip (backs of the hands point forwards)
- your arms are hanging down almost fully stretched out
- stand with a straight back and hip width apart legs
- the legs are slightly bent
- fixate the upper arms to the sides of the torso
- hold the head in extension to the spine
Correct Execution
- bring the ez bar up slowly by bending your elbows without momentum
- do not let the elbows wander outwards or swing
- try to hold the hands in extension to the forearms
- stretch the arms slowly and let the bar sink down
- repeat the exercise several times
