  • this exercise also requires your balance

Starting Position

  • stand up straight, the legs are hip width open
  • place the hands at the hips, the temples or hold them stretched out in front of your body
  • look ahead
  • lift the heels and keep the balance

Correct Execution

  • make a bigger step forward
  • only the tiptoes touch the ground, the heels are in the air during the whole exercise
  • bend the leading leg to 90 degrees, you hip sinks down
  • the back knee almost touches the ground
  • keep upper body and arms inactive
  • do not move outwards the tiptoes or knees
  • push the body back up and repeat with the other side
  • or come back to the starting position as shown in the video
