General And Specifics
- this exercise also requires your balance
Starting Position
- stand up straight, the legs are hip width open
- place the hands at the hips, the temples or hold them stretched out in front of your body
- look ahead
- lift the heels and keep the balance
Correct Execution
- make a bigger step forward
- only the tiptoes touch the ground, the heels are in the air during the whole exercise
- bend the leading leg to 90 degrees, you hip sinks down
- the back knee almost touches the ground
- keep upper body and arms inactive
- do not move outwards the tiptoes or knees
- push the body back up and repeat with the other side
- or come back to the starting position as shown in the video
