General And Specifics
- with this yoga exercise especially the rear part of the legs can be stretched effectively
- besides the muscles named above, additionally the legs and arms will be strengthened
Starting Position
- begin on all fours
- the feet are hip width apart
- the arms are stretched and the hands a bit in front of your shoulder
- the knees are right below the hips
- fingers point forward
Correct Execution
- stretch the knees and raise the butt
- your body forms an inverted V
- push the chest towards the ground as much as possible
- pull together the shoulder blades
- your head is in extension to the spine and between your arms
- look to the toes and hold this position for at least five breaths
